Chrome type paint recommendations

Hi all. I have a set of wheels on my new to me car that all have some curbage...
I am going to recut the lips and want to spray the wheels a chrome like color with a lightly tinted clear.
Can someone recommend a paint to do this. The wheels appear this way now.

Don't know how well they will hold up with chrome paint but I think Rustolium makes chrome pant and check out YouTube for chrome paint also.

Really not looking for spray can. I can paint fine. Just was wanting to know if there is a really bright silver base color.
I'm not trying to make wheels look chrome..just a bright silver with very small amounts of metal flake.then tint clear to make it like a deep aluminum kinda color

Do not put clear over a 'chrome' finish....it flattens the chrome surface and ends up looking like grey undercoat. The chrome takes weeks to cure out due to the high solids count as well.

There is no chrome paint.

And yes, clear over silver paint(while still tacky) makes it look very very close to aluminum intake manifold grade casting.

You have a few options. Like duck said, argent is the standard "color" most used for painted silver wheels. This is usually baked on at the wheel manufacturer.
Painting the wheels with "chrome" paint will make them very shiny but the "chrome" does not hold up well and will stain and water spot very easily. If you let the chrome set up for a few days you can shoot it with clear coat to protect it but, like was mentioned, this will dull the chrome look down into a brushed aluminum color. This will not be that far off from the factory argent.
Another option would be to use a silver brake caliper paint. This stuff is tuff, stain resistant and will make the wheels look like a bare cast aluminum. I use the caliper paint to spray new intake manifolds. Keeps the cast aluminum look and it will not stain.
If I was doing it I would go with the caliper paint. I use VHT but most any brand should work fine.

I'll concede there is chrome paint.
There is no chrome paint for anyone who would ask the question the OP did.

I'm going to suggest, since the OP completely changed from chrome to cast aluminum, that the OP buy silver Plasti Dip and call it a day.

I repair wheels on a weekly basis. I would suggest that you forget about the chrome finish and instead go with a hyper silver finish. I good paint to base your color off of is Honda Blade Silver code NH95M. It's a color that reacts well to tinting and reduction for a hyper effect color. If you have any questions, send me a PM
