Ok gents, I don't think anyone would question that these wrenches were all made by the same manufacturer. Question is, who? According to inventory, the tool archives notes the following manufacturers that used the full "Chrome Vanadium Steel" stamp/forge mark:

- Barcalo
- Truth
- Wilde
- Bonney
- Indestro
- Hinsdale

I personally believe these were made by Indestro, but there's an argument for Barcalo due to the size stamp style.

Love to hear thoughts,

Todd

They don't look like Barcalo to me but I don't have any guesses as to who made them.

Maybe I haven't looked at enough wrenches, but they do not look like Indestro to me.
Shanks are shaped differently.
Even the older Indestro 368-369 starter/manifold wrenches I see are more "roundy" on the shanks than those appear to be.

Different where the heads join the shanks.
Size stampings are nothing like any Indestro I've seen.

Just my lousy opinion, of course.

And.... like in that email I sent to you the other night, Indestro on a lot of their earlier stuff stamped it: "Chromium Vanadium".

I found an offset DBE just like those. I had always thought it was made by Wilde, but since the brand names are just stamped into each and not forged, I guess it could be just about anyone. The stamp on the Wilde wrenches looks the most 'simple' of all the designs. :dunno:
Here's my wrench for comparison.
