I've not heard of Ciasons compressors before, but there is a 60 gal. "industrial" version for sale in my area. 5hp, 2 cyl, single phase

Does anyone know about these?

Thanks!

I just bought a 23 gallon 2 cylinder 3hp Ciasons compressor yerterday. I believe the company is based out in Santa Ana, CA.

As far as I know they are really good compressors.

Thanks for the reply! This must be a rather old model - it's horizontal and the Ciason website doesn't show a horizontal 60 gal at all. Maybe I'll contact the seller and get the pump model #.

He's asking $800

Out here in SoCal, Tools R Us carries them. Look nice. The upper end ones have Made in USA motors and parts, the lower end is China??Taiwan. I saw this with my own 2 eyes. They had 60/80gal verticals, and lots of horizontals, but I don't remember their size.

That's all I know. Too deep for my pockets. I'll just use a VW motor.

I know this threads dead but for the next guy heres my take.
I didnt see any pump rebuild kits or breakdown manuals while looking at the Ciasons? I did see pumps for sale on their site but no prices?? Their products are only sold in Cali that I found?
They did seem to be high grade and I did find vids/pics of some well used & abused units still pumping. I would buy one if the price was right.
I'd want pump parts available though so check on that if you care? Whole pumps are pricey Im sure. I have an Eagle compressor that works well and they offer pump kits if needed.

Just found this thread after ordering some parts for my 1993 2HP 115/230V 1ø Ciasons portable. I've seen their facility, and they stock parts from waaaaay back. Great support and nice people...but a poor website; best to call them on the phone.

I've neglected my poor Ciasons but it has never failed to deliver lots of clean air. Painted several airplanes and many motorcycles with this old work horse.
