One of these beasts, circa 1982, is going up for auction tomorrow morning. Location is central Utah. It's a 230/460v 3ph machine originally built on Federal contract.

Price, Utah. About 45 miles north of Interstate 70, smack dab on the route between Denver and Salt Lake City.

That's a nice machine. It's probably 5HP on the vertical spindle and 10HP on the horizontal spindle. 50 taper all around.

I inspected it's older, bigger brother a few months ago.
