Over the last couple weeks I've made a couple trips down to Cincinnati to buy up some parts and equipment from Cincinnati Machine company.
They have a factory - I'd guess about 50,000 square feet - that they are clearing out.
Looks to me like their "surplus" barn. With damaged, or outdated or unused equipment. Literally dozens of old horizontal mills, universal grinders, cylindrical grinders a couple giant CNC lathes. There are piles of three phase motors. At least one giant forklift. Hundreds of tons of stuff.
If you have any "old iron" Cincinnati machines or equipment, you might want to go down there and check it out. They are dismantling some of it and selling off some as they go, but most of it is headed for the scrapyard.
I saw a couple of #5 size horizontal mills that looked pretty complete - one with a very expensive vertical head attachment.
I'd love to bring it all home, and briefly entertained the idea of buying it all, but I just don't have the time to sort through to find the diamonds in the rough. Sadly a lot of this old equipment is hard to make money with anymore.
I hesitate to leave their contact information on this open site, so if anyone has any interest, PM me and I'll give you the information.
