Hi all - any tips for fixing/repairing cracking in cinder block? How concerned should I be with cracks in these types of walls for my garage? thanks!

Where are you?? Could affect the answers you get.

Around here we have a city full of brick and block walls that are subject to seasonal movement. Those diagonal cracks are a tough one as they shift every year.

Unless the filler is flexible, the cracks re-appear over time.

Not enough info: what size block, how high are your walls, are the cores filled with concrete or not, is there any steel in the wall now, vertical or horizontal??? Do need to consider freeze in winter?

Cracks in the blocks or in the mortar?
Zig zag cracks in the mortar are normal after a few years.
Get the wall tuck pointed.

A small grinder with the appropriate cutter wheel will make short work of mortar joints.
