any one here know where i can get one of those circuit board kits you solder yourself kinda like a training thing. buzzers,bells and whatnots. i'd like to practice my soldering while learning electronics.

I couldnt think of it, but I think the above mentioned Ramsey is sort of the "industry standard" for these things.

wow both those sites are great but id also like to know where i can get some books to learn how these work.

no they have these snap in kits with button like connectors. no soldering required. radio shak has become a sham. the employees there dont know anything about electronics. just cell phones and ipods. true story- i went in to one and asked where the soldering irons were since i didnt see any. the guy said i should probably look at hobby lobby!! they sell all types of fabric and fabric tools there>?! i laughed so hard i couldnt begin to tell him what an idiot he was.
