Circuit Layout at House

Tired of playing the guessing game at my panel when looking for a circuit and having to reference someones 20 year old handwriting.

Does anyone know of a software or layout that I can plan my house walls, then add outlets, lights, switches and number each of them? Like an aerial shot of my house with all things electrical numbered.

A copy of the framing plans and several colored pencils.

sketch out a floor plan. mark location of outlets & lights. put a number at them that corresponds to the breaker number . tape it to the panel

I did this when I bought my current house using Autodesk Inventor, because I had access to it through work.
Any sketching software should work fine.
