I have a dewalt 18v circular saw. It creates a lot of dust. It does not have a dust port and of course dust everywherre when I cut something. Anyone else have this issue and come up with a solution?

I have the same issue with my chop saw, even though it has a dust port and bag to catch it. Still seems to make a big mess.

I have decent dust collection on my stationary tools (including a dust hood behind my miter saw) but have found that it's not worth the effort to try to retrofit something for my circular saw.

Most of the time, I just make circular saw cuts outside. The rest of the time, I resign myself to having to sweep up after the cut.

Only an enormous dust collection system can deal with the ambient dust created by certain woodworking power tools, just a simple fact of life. That is no doubt why ever shop I've been in is always dusty, comes with the territory.

I have the little bag on my miter saw, pretty much a waste of material. I agree with rieferman, I drag the saw out to the driveway most of the time. Then use my leaf blower to clean up.

If outside isn't an option, the Festool line of tools (as noted above) are a good choice. I understand that they are a joy to work with, and are awesome at dust control... but your wallet may object (mine certainly does).

Adding a dust collection hose to a cordless saw is going to kill all of the benefits of said cordless saw but I understand why you would want to do so - especially if you have asthma or another respiratory condition.

I've thought about buying the Bosch dust chute and adapting it to my Milwaukee circular saw but never got around to it before I bought a DeWalt tracksaw a couple of years ago. The only time I really use the Milwaukee saw now is outdoor projects, the last being a ramp into my shed last summer.
