My main one is a compact Rockwell 4.5 inch that is awesome -- so easy to handle and use. My secondary one is a Sears Craftsman "Sawmill" one that I got for $5 at a yard sale in its original hard plastic case, manual, etc.. It is pretty cool. I keep medium toothed blades in both for general wood cutting.

I have a corded Craftsman I bought ~2003 when my older one gave it up and I was trying to build a fence/gate to keep my dog contained at a rental house.

I also have a cordless 18V Ridgid. It's convenient. I keep a finer blade in the C-man and a framing blade in the Ridgid.

Just a Makita Hypoid 7 1/4" - it's a really nice saw, though I wish I had an M18. The Makita is a beefy beast, and I'm not close to making full use of it.

I'd rather have one of these:

(basically the M18 version of my Makita)

A corded Porter cable saw from the early 90s when I was working construction and a 20v cordless Porter cable I bought a couple of years ago.

1. A cheap Skilsaw I bought around 20 years ago.I use to have another just like it but gave it to my step-daughter when she was doing some renovations at her house and needed a circular saw. Don't remember why I had 2 of the same saw.

3 at the moment.

An old 7 1/4" Skil 77

An old B&D 3050 6 1/2" worm drive (my favorite)

and an old 6" Porter Cable direct drive

Thinking about getting a Milwaukee cordless for Father's Day.

I have had three for years, I keep thinking it should be four. I have wanted to treat myself to a really nice saw but haven't had a construction project large enough for me to justify it yet.

The one I use most is a Tru-value Hardware branded saw I received as college graduation gift 35 years ago. It was on the lower end of the budget scale at the time but has been a remarkably faithful trooper during both our lives.

The most disappointing circ saw I own is an 18volt DeWalt which is essentially unusable. That thing refuses any cut on 2by material or plywood thicker than 1/4" and breaks records extinguishing a fully charged battery.

I have a 20-25 year old Craftsman 7&1/4 that was left by a tenant at one of my rental properties. It has a larger body than my other saw and has a sort of clumsy feel to it. Should be yard sale fodder but selling tools goes against my grain...even if I dislike them.

Im not a carpenter, but I have likely close to 8+, with almost no duplicates, all USA, except for the cordless, starting with a Bosch mag worm drive ( Skil Mag77 ), down to 18v Bosch cordless. I use both LH and RH saws.

Likely my favorites, Skil Saw Boss ( 6" trim saw ), and a Porter Cable LH standard 7.25, just a really nice saw.

I live on a hobby farm, so I get involved in lots of weird stuff.. and come from the school of right tool for the job.. or many tools..

I have 3 dewalt 18v cordless that I use with adapters and 20v max batteries.

1st I bought new. 2nd I bought used to have a second one. 3rd as part of a pile of used tools I bought for next to nothing. I actually use all 3. Keep 1 in the camper at the river. Keep other 2 in the garage. 1 has a damaged blade in it for cutting stuff with nails in it.

Somewhere I have a plug in one. I have not seen it in a few years.

Nine of them.

Old B&D circular saw, one of my first tool purchases in the early 80's.
Bought a Makita hypoid saw around 94, never liked the saw but still have it.
Found a $30 left hand Porter cable at a pawn shop
Ran across a gold 50th anniversary Skil 77, new never used at a garage sale for $20!
Festool TS55 tracksaw and rail
A friend traded me his 6" Porter Cable trim saw for a full sized skil I had
Picked up a 20v Dewalt circular saw
Really needed a full sized cordless, so I got a 60v Dewalt, 7.25" saw
60v Dewalt framing saw, was just too good to pass up! Found the complete kit with 9ah battery, charger, bag and a free bare tool for $322. Chose the 20v recip saw, then sold the recip to a friend for $75.

I have just five:
36 year old Craftsman (made by Skil) that I bought when I was young.
Vintage Porter Cable sidewinder. It sports a custom made aluminum shoe.
Steelmax for cutting. . . steel.
Delta Contractor's saw.
1959 Unisaw that's currently under restoration.

Just two circular saws here: a 7-1/4" Milwaukee M18 Fuel saw that I use 95% of the time, and an old Ryobi 7-1/4" corded saw that I often forget I still have.

I've worn out 3 as just a homeowner. I had couple of them rebuilt. A Makita and the industrial Milwaukee. When the Milwaukee died again, there weren't any parts available this time, I replaced it with a new Milwaukee. Milwaukee isn't industrial any more, sort of DIY class. I need two in case one breaks.

In my younger days I worked as industrial carpenter, so I've used them all.
