Your CV is beautiful.
I see it’s a ripple bonnet too.
What year model?
Did you import it or find it in the USA?
I love less common vintage colours.

I was a member of the 2CVGB club for many years.
Ultimately never owned one.
So I love seeing others.

I think you should post your interior and engine bay here too for those of us loving them.

I just won a manual 2002 Peugeot 206 CC 2.0 petrol last week. Pics and video in my thread.

And yes, you could tell Luca he has many fans still on here who do not have IG.

Yes it's a 1959 ripple bonnet with the 425cc engine. It was imported to the US from the Netherlands by a well known Citroen enthusiast who is also a rep for Burton 2CV Parts. Generally I restore most of our vintage vehicles, but bought this one restored. The wife has always wanted a 2CV and I didn't want her to have to wait while I poked around restoring one. It's very original, but the paint and body work are only so so. Despite the mediocre paint job, it's been a reliable and fun car to own. I absolutely love the suspension on Citroens.

More from autumn 1984. One never knows what's behind the big doors into a farmyard in rural France.

That could have been in CAR Magazine, circa 1986.
Citroen showroom on the Champs-Elysees, April 2013.

The multi-level one? That is a VERY impressive showroom. The main attraction when we stopped in back in 2010 was the Survolt concept:

2CV in the livery of J.B. Pastor et Fils, the multi-billion-Euro Monaco property development company, in Monaco the day after the Grand Prix in 2010. This wasn't a collector car -- it seemed to be working that morning at a big new Pastor construction project on rue Grimaldi.

The time a Citroen H Van coffee vendor set up shop a few doors down from me. It only lasted for maybe 6 months before the owner sold it to a frozen cocktail vendor in another state. We were going to do a photoshoot of my 2CV with it, but unfortunately missed the opportunity.
