Yes, you'll notice he's wearing a Craftsman apron and I can see the Craftsman badge on the motor. And since I restore alot of them, I can say yes, its Craftsman. It even shows the anti- kick back guard. That looks like the cover of a table saw brochure Sears used to sell.

I ended up with this one that was closer. Model 113.27520, not sure if the base is original and it has two cool clamps for attaching the two together.

Dreamer, nice find on the table saw. These are great saws. I have a 113.27521 10" Bench Saw that has served me well for many years.

Your saw is also known as the Craftsman "100". Although, unlike later models where the "100" designation was identified on the saw, these didn't have it.

I believe this series of saws was made between 1952 to 1955. I've always thought mine was from 1954.

Your base looks like the smaller (18" x 16 1/4"), "Tool Bench" available back then, except it's missing the leg extensions. Check it out:

Also, here's the source for the picture in your first post:

Good luck with your saw.

Super and thank you for the information.

Don't mention it. Always glad to help.

By the way, nice to see you got an extension with the geared rail. Those can be hard to come by. The cheapest way to get these is by buying a complete saw that has them. Which is what I did a year and a half ago when I picked up a 1949 saw for $40.

I put the extensions/rails on my saw and then gave the '49 to one of my sons. Unfortunately, the saw met an untimely death when it fell off a truck in transit. So, now I have an extra miter gauge, rip fence, 1 HP motor, and other bits and pieces for my saw. Son is using the carcass of the old saw as a work table. The cast iron top is perfect for that.

Take care.

Don
