You might do ok on the compressor, a lot depends on how much use it has and any maintenance done ie oil change/filter. Definitely listen to it start and go until it shuts off, check of air leaks.:thumbup:

That's not bad but it looks like that guy will take a lower price with all of that "online auction" price business. Be careful that it works well as already said, it sounds a bit like he is trying to flip it or unload it quick, like something might be wrong. Defiantly ask why he is selling it, and try to knock off some money. Maybe offer $200 for it and see what he says, after everything checks out. Say you saw one for that last week or something.

Thank you for the info, after doing more research it seems it is just an older version of the CH you can get at TS for 429 new.

Ya know people get all cranky when someone mentions using PVC for air compressor lines, but it's just fine to buy an old compressor not knowing the how it was maintained and the bottom could blow out at any moment. I just find it odd.
