CL bargain in Snap On toolbox?

I'm not sure what model that is, but it looks a little older. I'm sure it's a solid box, but I wouldn't pay over a grand for it myself. I think $500-750 wouldn't be too bad.

Then again, it all depends on your market and how long you're willing to wait. I've purchased 2 snap on boxes in the past 6 months full of tools, and sold the boxes empty for the same price I paid for them full.

It appears to me like it's a 3 bay version of the KR1000 which seem to go for much more money than what this guy is asking. So I take it this is a lower quality Snap On?

That is a KRL series box, Snap Ons top of the line. It is probably 15 years old or so as that style was popular then. I'd say $1,250 is a fair price if unit is as described.

Note it is only 20.5" deep, for that kind of money I'd want at least 24". Depth rules.

That box is only worth 500 tops. THat is why no one is "snapping it up" and why he will be relisting it for a few times lowering the price. There is nothing wrong with a box that size if it suits your needs. But it is not a "hum zinger" of a deal at the current price.

I disagree. In CA. that's a hell of a deal. I would have picked it up already. A 3 bay for less than a grand even in a KRA is a deal. That's a great box. You can get the slides replaced for free if you have a dealer already. The stainless trim is pretty cheap too if you wanted to get newins.

If you lived in Ct, you'd go broke buying used Snap-On tool boxes here. There are so many at prices below half that for top and bottom combos.....must be a lot of guys starving. Kinda feel bad they're giving thier stuff away to live...
