so I got a set of MAC knuckle savers from 1/4" all the way to 1" and a 1&1/8" missing the 1&1/16"

and a set of snapon extensions

snapon long handle dykes

and a SL715

all for 179

only fair. you could have bought a set of 3/8 to 3/4 in the mac tool roll, very good condition from me for 100 shipped. the best offer i got was 75. apparently noone wants them.

I'd say that was a very good deal. Without looking up the prices you are about 20 to 25% of retail and that's always a good place to be.

the open ends of the wrench have little spots on them that if the bolt or nut starts to slip through and round off, they grab it and keep you from busting your hand. (to me just a name really, its still a good american wrench)

good deal. i got 3 matco socket sets and a battery carrier for $140

3/8-1-1/2" shallow set (1/2" drive)

10-27mm deep set (1/2" drive)

5/16-1" semi deep set 3/8" drive

knuckle saver is mac's name for the wrenches. i think they even made a knuckle saver plus too.

kind of like snap on combo wrenches. got normal flank drive and then you have flank drive plus

I think I saw it mentioned once before but figured it was some sort of pad or what have you. Didn't know it was a design feature of a wrench. :) Learn something new every day.
