CL Find...Mac Box early 1990s

Wonder what the thoughts are on this for $750...dented top box. Seems high for $750. Does a Mac box from the early 90s have ball bearing sliders?

I think it is older than that, doubtful on the BB slides. Agree that is pretty high, especially for a 27" box in that condition (major deformation to the chassis of the top box).

I offered $350, that I would move stuff to get it and he told me to go pound sand....in my 2 weeks in trying to find a decent Made In the USA used tool box has provided futile....everyone is way overpriced....lots of sentimental value adding hundreds and hundreds of dollars, which I understand, but eventually you got to be realistic about what you have.

Looking like HF more and more...

ETA...I am a cheap ******* though....so it is not all the sellers fault.

The seller is really not interested in selling it. If someone was willing to give them an obscene amount for it, then yes they would but otherwise it is not really "for sale". The laziness of the ad indicates that. He or she has no plans of getting rid of it any time soon. IMHO.

The HF44" bottom box is a phenomenal box.....for the money. The used route can be very tedious, especially if you value your time. Trust me on that one.

I agree on the HF44" box...just do not have any place to put it.... Probably will end up with HF27" and call it a day.

Go check this out. I think the guy is wrong on the measurements of the main box though. Should be a KR657, ~33"wx18"dx37"t.
