CL find - not another Block grinder | Baldor 1/2 HP 7307D

Some may know that I have 1 or 2 Craftsman Block motor style grinders.

I picked up another 1/2 HP grinder yesterday.

I beleive the model/catalogue number is really 7307D. I'll verify it when I pull it out of the truck for better pictures.

Anyway, I didn't pay $300. I don't need the stand, so I offered $200 for the Buffer without the stand and the seller looked like she was uncomfortable. I looked closer at the stand and saw it is a high quality, heavy cast stand; not a HF or Tooltopia stand.

We settled @ $250 with the stand.

RE: Non-Descriptive /Vague thread title "CL find - not another Block grinder"

Have a suggestion.

Once you confirm the model number ask one of the MODS to rename the thread so it reflects the item being talked about.

(EG: Give the thread a descriptive thread title)

Doing such may spur someone's memory that had or has xyz item that can jump in and offer tech tips and the like.
(EG: Hey I had one those years back, as in the case of a Craftsman 1/2hp Block grinder 397.19340... when the $49.95 start relay goes bad you can substitute a commonly stocked $8.95 relay off a 1/2hp xyz HVAC air handler, part number is XYZ.. slides right in, has the same specs... Just have to drill one hole in the replacement relay's bracket)

Using a descriptive thread title may also may also spur someone who knows where accessories may be sourced into posting.

(EG: I've got a complete set of widgets for one of those, pay shipping and they are yours!)

Using a descriptive thread title also helps those searching /looking around.

Above is a small detail that can pay-off in many ways.

Oh if you can't get title edited, post the details of the item in the BODY of your opening post so search engines can "see" the info. Pics are great, but they A: Are prone to going stale, and B: Search engines can't see the info within the pic(s).

Even my sister-in-law admired the grinder when she wandered in to the garage where my brother and I were looking it over, trying it out for the 1st time and taking pictures to get a better angle on the id plate.

BTW - it is --> CAT. NO. 7307D, 1/2 HP, 115/230 V, 3.4/1.7 AMPS, 3600 RPM.
