Delta Heavy Duty Bench Grinder on CL. Asking $700.

3 phase. 208/230v
Plate says model 23-851...? Hard to read.
3/4hp
3/4" arbor

Its on a very nice factory stand.

Seem a little over priced. But I have no idea. I do have 3 ph in my shop so this could work.

 WAY over priced. You can't see it run--> price it as a non running machine. Yea it is USA made, but it is a newer one and IMHO not that great compared to some of the older cooler ones. There is NO way I would spend that much money on a bench grinder. Just my 2¢

There is a nice 8" baldor single phase on there w/ stand for $350 which I still think is over priced for a bench grinder, but 1/2 price of the delta. Why do you plan on using this machine for?

...kinda what I thought.

I thought 3 phase stuff was supposed to be cheap?

I've called on the Baldor one... yes too much plus long drive.

At least regarding 3 ph motors, it's my experience that they should be DIRT cheap. I converted an 80 gallon (5hp) compressor to single phase and almost couldn't give the Leeson 3ph motor away on CL. After posting it cheap several times and getting zero replies, I sat on it for a year and eventually got rid of it for $50 and felt darn lucky to get it. This things was CLEAN and low mileage too. Except for a couple of light scratches you couldn't tell this thing wasn't brand new.
