Looking for tools on CL as I normally do I stumbled across this:

http://tulsa.craigslist.org/tls/1835958328.html

Sent the guy an email with my number telling him I would take it, couple of days later I get a call from him, come get it.

In the interim I did some research and couldn't find where Wilton had made anything like this. Picked it up and discovered it is a Delta 31-730, great condition, just needs a little TLC. Will need to beef up my existing stand for "little" old Craftsman 6x48, will probably need a new motor as well. This thing is a beast, probably weighs at least 100lbs or more.

I was able to download the operator's manual off of Delta's site, had some good tips on operation,

I was surprised no one had jumped on it.

Everything is tight, tables have a little bite in them from the disc and belt but nothing major. Some surface rust on them as well. I like the fact that the belt can run vertical as well as horizontal.

Very nice!

A few years ago I sold a guy a table saw for $40. In order to right the world balance, I think you should sell this to me for the same price :D

$50, you dog you, well done. I had a guy come in yesterday looking for that tool and I'd never seen one. You can bet I'll buy the next one I see, provided the price is right.

OH,,,,,,,,,,, You ****!!!!

great deal! those are much better than the craftman belt sander that I bought at Sears....

I've been looking for one of those... I've got a similar one in my shop in SD and it works great. Belt is easy to change and the guards are all metal. The belt is a pain to change on the craftsman... or rather, crapsman......
