I have that same jack in my shop and it is a very nice unit. Rolls easy, very stable and lifts as high as I have ever needed. As noted though, that one is missing the saddle pegs but 4 3/8" x 5" A307 bolts that are threaded to the head and 4 nuts will fix that cheaply.

If the jack was cleaned up and had everything with it, the price would not be out of line in this area. As it sits, $250 to $275 would be a more reasonable price around here.

I bought the same jack on CL two years ago. I got it for $60, but I had to drive 2 hours to get it. It's a really nice jack. Works great for exhaust systems and fuel tanks, too.

Avoid it,it is a POS.Anything made by Lincoln is junk, all they do is leak leaving a puddle on the floor.Had one of those jacks,it was nothing but a *************.Had to add fluid and bleed the air out before using it.It was like this since day one it was purchased new.

You know something? It's a wonder you EVER get anything done as every Snap-on tool you have bought or you have heard of is a POS. How do you ever finish anything with all of those POS tools you have?

You have had a hardon for Snap-on the entire time you have been on this board with every comment known to mankind and most of them coming 15th hand from your second cousin's wifes, brothers, boss who heard it from a traveling Matco salesman's buddy that heard it from his wifes grandfather's landscaper who talked to a Mac salesman 32 years ago and thought he remembered this jack might have had a problem.

Georgie or Aberdale,

Can you get me a pic of what you are talking about with the missing saddle pieces?

I am going to look at it tomorrow.

I can measure the slotted bars and get you the dimensions on everything but I am out of town until late Friday. Will this hold you until then?

Georgia,

That pic is perfect. I called the guy today and no response. I will call him again tomorrow. Sounds like this is a good unit if he has the rest of the parts AND the price comes down.

Update--I finally spoke to the guy and he tells me the jack works fine and was rebuilt by Snap On a year ago. Nothing is bent or damaged other than the missing 4 saddle pegs. He asked what I was thinking and I told him $200 or possibly $225. He came back with $250. We are meeting tomorrow.

He says he has the saddle pegs "somewhere" in his toolboxes. I am thinking about $225 now and when he finds the pegs another $50.

Comments?
