I am thinking on getting a clamp on amp meter for mainly automotive type work. I would like to use it for miliamps to starter amp testing. Which Fluke or Uni-T should I get?

I just got a Fluke 325 since it's one of their cheapest that actually does DC. Fairly pleased with it so far.

You actually need two. One for milliamps with a large jaw opening the size of a quarter and then a larger one for amps. Check ESI and AESWAVE.com for options.

uni-t 210E is that cheap and usable worth anyone having one as a kick around quick meter . Would need larger uni-t 200A do starter.
Due to locations you got reach into and still need view the meter the most usable is separate clamps and a dmm to use with them.
