Clamp type inner tie rod tool

Has anyone used the cal-van clamp inner tie rod removal tool?

Wondering if it will work as well as the regular inner tie rod tool for midsize cars.

I can't think of a mid size car that I could see that tool fitting in let alone having room to get those nuts tight enough to get a grip that will lossen an inner tie rod.

I'll stick with my old school tool.

Yep I have one and have used it quite a bit. Fits more cars than I thought it would. It is surprisingly handy

There isn't much that I can't break free with an air-hammer on the lock-nut for a few seconds to spread it a little, and then on of these guys on the tie-rod hex.
