ima break the chain and say you need more parallel bar clamps. I had my eye on some bessys the other day. home depot has some like em made by a us company. that are cheeper. Its a big name im just to lazy to think about what it was.... hmm oh well.

Hey I used the bessys at work the other day (Pretty sure were talking bout the same clamps) I want some for myself too they work great. Good one handed operation

I got a few of the Stanley s when Big lots had them a while back, IIRC 24" ones, $10.00 or $15.00 each,

THATS IT! cant believe I forgot a company as big as jorgensen. They are similar to the bessys. the handles are wood instead of that cool dual density rubber/plastic stuff but so what. for less money and being made in the us ill bite. I think the bessys are canadian made? IIRC.

and yes machobuck, they are so nice! I was looking at them the other day where I work at my part time job then I looked at the price tag, it made me jump a little, but they get awsome reviews and they work great. little jaw flex. nice bars. great for woodworking especially building up panels.

I think the best deal I have seen on em is to break down and buy em from amazon as one of the value packs. you get like 6 clamps or something pluss the little base that holds them upright for you for about 200 bucks it gives you about one clamp 1/2 or free for that price.

clamps are contagious. ive been buying a lot of c-clamps, and although u can never have enough, i need to stop buying c-clamps and get more bar clamps and quick release clamps...
