Ran across this Clark DT1000 drill press (benchtop) for $40 that comes with a vise. It's a 5 speed but slowest speed is 620 rpm.

This thing any good to even go check it out??

Gut tells me maybe $25 or $30 as this would not be so good with trying to drill anything with steel.

I'd personally look for an older USA made bench model drill press. That press is ~$80 new, without a vise. Max capacity in steel is ~1/4" dia twist bit.

You'd be hard pressed to find less of a drill press, that one is scraping the bottom of the barrel in all aspects. X2 what zkling above said, although even the next step in imports, 13-14" swing or so, is far better than that.

On edit, just looked at the pics again, "Metalworker", now there's a joke.
