I suggest that items in classified get marked "SOLD" in post #1,when they sell. That way you don't have to scroll through the whole thread to see what's sold & what isn't. It is just a matter of clicking edit and marking sold beside the item & click save.

I think this is a good idea. I do this each time one of my item sells, and I tend to do it in larger, red font so it stands right out.

when things are pending a sale I go in and edit to say its pending.
when I get paid I prefer to edit the post and remove the item
I often wish other people would do that as well

This would be a great idea. If it didn't sell, then re-edit the post and bump it back to the top; with a note that it is still available.
