Hey folks, I am selling a Clausing drill press model 1756.
Step pulley unit, with a 3 phase motor. I do not know the condition of this motor, but do know the drill press operates correctly as it should, because I took the single phase motor off of this one, and replaced it with the 3 phase unit on it currently off of my vari speed press. It is a Howell Electric motor.
There are a few pieces missing off of it: the collar spindle(one for sale here http://www.ebay.com/itm/CLAUSING-DR...500?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item56458ea814 ), and the threaded rod that has the pointer and the lock nuts on it, also the face of the spring handle on the left side, but one could easily be fabbed I'm sure.
The table and base are in good shape. The table is a swivel unit with some sort of fabbed mount, doesn't look like it belongs to it at all.
Also up front, the column does need to be sanded to remove the surface rust, it was stored in my barn while my garage was being built. Never got wet, but the moisture flash rusted some stuff.
I'd like to get $200 for this, pickup only, in Sherman KY 41030.
