I looking for someone in and around the Pittsburgh PA area who works on Clean Burn waste oil burners. I have a Clean Burn CB-90-HS waste oil burner that needs worked on. It dumps excess oil inside my Buderus GE315 boiler. I have replaced the oil solenoid, new nucleus in the air solenoid, cleaned the oil regulator, resealed all the pipes, new nozzle. Tried adjusting a the oil and air settings with no better results. This unit ran perfect last year and all I did before firing it up this year was clean out the boiler and clean the nozzle. I'm sure no Clean Burn dealers will work on this unit because the burner has been slightly modified to fit the boiler. I am at my wits end trying to figure out what is wrong. Any help is greatly appreciated. Send me a PM if you know of anyone who works on these.

If you moved the electrodes out of position while cleaning that could definitely be a problem.

I talked to Paul at Central Ohio Heaters and he said that somehow my oil solenoid is staying energized on shutdown and that is the only way for oil to get through. He gave me some tips on how to test it so I'll try that later today and see what happens.

We send ours in every year to get cleaned and rebuilt professionally and it works all year for us.
