Just got a StrongHand FixturePoint welding table and the top came generously coated with an anti-corrosion grease that I want to clean off before welding on it. Any suggestions about how to do that?

Any solvent will do it but try Goop or one of the waterless hand cleaners and see how it works. If you ever get grease on something like a good shirt try Goop, not the gritty stuff. It isn't flammable and it doesn't smell bad.

I used a steam cleaner, then blew dry, then coated with WD-40....zero rust and took about 30 minutes. ....just make sure you dry and wipe with WD-40....

Try Dawn laundry detergent. That stuff does a good job of cutting oil and grease.
