Once a year I like to clean out my tool box and wipe down all my tools ... ya know start the year out right...

What do you guys use to degrease and clean your metal stuff like rachets, sockets and wrenches?

I live in MN and we dont heat the shop all the time so my tools to see some condenstion / moisture and I usually do a quick wipe down with ATF to prevent ant rust but I'm curious to see if anyone else has a better solution.

Thanks Guys!

I've used a light oil like Rem Oil for tools that have been sitting or maybe stuff going to storage.

WD40....I usually wipe down my tools with WD40 relatively often. IMHO Only use for WD40 I've found is a tool cleaner/polish.

we don't really have a moisture problem here in SoCAL, but if my tools get wet, I spray some WD-40 on them to remove the moisture. If I need to degrease it first, I spray some orange clean and get the gunk off first, then WD-40 to remove the moisture.
