Its not my garage, but I spend enough time in it :) Anyway a couple weeks ago we finally went for it and really cleaned it up and organized it. This is actually my friends parents garage (but you can see why we use it) so we are constanly working around his stuff. It it was just mine or his there would be MUCH less stuff, but oh well its a small sacrifice :). ON WITH THE PICS!!!

Here is a nice overall shot of the garage after.

A while back we extended the platform where the fridge is now, and added the wash tub. Since these pics were taken we have cleaned up under the stairs, and that general area more.

Here is the other side overall.

We moved the workbench to where I have wanted it for years now, and also made it a lil shorter. Moved all the boxes to the same area as well (Mine is the craftsman on the left, then the husky is his dads, and the kobalt is my firends). We added all of the tool storage on the wall, that stuff was everywhere! His dad forgot he had some of those tools :)

Beter picture of the main work area.

Here is looking out while it was empty of cars.

I know you guys are wondering about the shelf, we actually cleanded that up the next week and here is what it looks like now. You can also see one of the speakers mounted in that pic. We did 4 speakers, one in each corner, which was a huge improvement.

Here is a pic of the lil "fab" area. Just a simple bandsaw that dosent like to cut metal, drill press and grinder. It got cleaned up more after the pic was taken.

Here is a bad pic of all the cars in there (except the race car)

The race car will be on wheel dollies next to the truck, when we need to work on it we will pull the cars out and move it over to the middle. Well thats about it, nothing to fancy but it gets the job done. This is by far the most clean and organized the garage has ever been, so it should be much nicer this winter working on the car. Let me know what you all think!

I would say its more for us than them. We work in there basicly every weekend (espically in the winter) they just park in there. They were happy that the gardening tools were all organized and in one place, but they never put them back where they belong!! Yes it it my friends parents, but I think you can all see why we would use it, nevermind that neither one of us has a garge of our own :(

I am guessing that you have never had your own garage. Because when you do, you will quickly realize that you will Always have WAY MORE stuff then you will have space for. Make more space, you get more stuff. It is the nature of the beast.

nice job on the garage clean up. Thats a nice sized space. I am jealous.

Very nice! Smart dad, keep the boys happy working in the garage! I finished my basement, added a pool table and stocked the fridge when my boys were teens to keep them amd their friends over here and out of trouble!

Yeah I haven't had my own garage yet, but hopefully soon. I already know that a two car really isn't going to cut it, but that's what the budget allows so I will have to make do with less stuff for now. Why does metal fab require such large tools :( Oh well one day I ll get a nice size shop in the back yard.

Trust me, that would be the first thing to go. That would be the owner of the garages though so it stays. Its smaller than the old boat though, so we made some head way :)
