My wooden garage walls and studs have darkened over time. If i run a piece of sandpaper over them very lightly, it comes off and the wood looks new again. Problem is the the rust colored dust it leaves alll over everything. Looking for something to spray on or brush that I could wipe off and not have all that stuff everywhere. Thanks for any info.

What is it?

Something in the air that sticks on the studs?

If it's just the normal oxidation that all wood surfaces do, just leave it.

How about insulating and wallboard?

They make a deck cleaner that you hose on/off. That MIGHT work. But you'll soak the black paper on the backside of your stucco (I assume) not certain if that will lead to a mildew problem but if it bothers you that much I'd give it a try if I didn't want to paint it.
