So I Laid down my acid stain this weekend. Neutralized it and cleaned up the first layer. I'm pretty disappointed with the stain and the color I got but that's a different story. My question is this;is there a better way of getting up the baking soda, water and neutralized acid up? I'm changing mop water out constantly and washing the mop out but feels like I will have to do the whole 1200sqft floor 100 sqft at a time changing water each mopping. Ideas or better experiences?

There is always some residual colorant left behind. Keep cleaning it and you will clean the color off the floor.

Results with acid stain can vary big time mostly because of the slab (lime content, finish, sealants present, etc...) not the product.
