I recently epoxied my garage floor and before I move a bunch of stuff in I was to give it a good cleaning. I picked up a good mop and bucket but what chemical does everyone use? Simple green? Dawn? Mop and glo?

Actually, 1/2 cup of ammonia to a gallon of hot water works very well. When you introduce Simple Green, degreasers, or some other soapy solution, it will leave a film on the surface which will attract dirt and make it slippery when wet.

If you need to scrub it with something stronger, be sure to rinse it well and do a final mop with the ammonia solution.

I have a 6000 sq ft epoxy floor in my warehouse and I’m going to say I’m not to excited to be mopping this much space. I store cars in it so it does get some travel on it getting the cars moved around.
Would someone suggest an mechanical floor sweeper that I could push or ride once a week or so to clean it?

Hi, standard 'walk behind' floor cleaners like are used in supermarkets and such are readily available on eBay, Craigslist like above, and local flooring equipment dealers.

This machine will pay for itself fast!
