Cleaning Cement First & Crack Question?

I just went and checked my fathers Garage floor. Most of it is good but it looks like many years ago someone may of painted part of it, and here and there has some faded paint. Which way works to get it prepped for Expocy-Coat? I dont have time to diamond grind it off. Is there any chemical or scrub I can use to remove it? It is very light and faded, its not like its a noticeable coat of paint or anything but I looked close and could see.

Also there is a tiny crack in part of it, what is the best to fill this? Links to something to clean and fill the cracks would be much appreciated.

Lose the paint or risk problems.
Use a gel crack filler to fill the crack. Epoxy coating will not fill it.

McLovin...I sense from your post that you're really saying you don't have the time (or want to take the time) to prep the floor properly but just want to do it quickly. In my opinion, you'd be better off to leave it as it is rather than not taking the time to do it right. You've probably heard the saying, "pay me now or pay me later." It applies here. In addition, you'll pay a whole lot more later if you don't do it right now.
