Just tried to presser washing my house garage the other day and had a hard time getting some stuff off. I coated the floor with ArmorSeal. I was woundering if there is something out there I could put down, soap or chemical, other that scrubbing on hands and knees?

Thanks for the help.

What did you get on it? I'm interested to find out too, as I just put down ArmorSeal in Dec.

Straight Simple Green and a nylon push broom has always worked on tough spots for me. Let the simple green sit for a few minutes on the spot. After that I just use a Swiffer to clean the whole floor.

I just got normal grease and grime off 2 vehicles that is to be expected from a Utah winter. This is the house garage where we just park the commuter and the gracery getter. I don't even work in there. I will have to try siple green. Alot of the **** came off with the pressure washer but it didn't come as clean as I would like. When it gets warmer I am gong to really hit it hard. Id like to see that new floor shine again....

I wonder if you got some heavy duty road salt (magnesium?) or some sort of chemical on the floor. Even so, that stuff should come off pretty easy.

I'll second the motion for Simple Green, Dawn dish soap or some other PH neutral cleaner. Use a soft bristled broom and agitate it thoroughly. Do not use a caustic or abrasive cleaner or stiff bristles as they could leave marks. Rinse and squeegee away the residues.

For my epoxy floor, I just sweep it with a soft-bristle push-broom occasionally; for fluid spills, I sop them up first with blue Scott paper towels, then sponge-mop with Simple Green and rinse. In the daily-driver area, lots of winter crud accumulates from snow/salt drippings from both cars that dry and turn really crusty; come spring, I just open the garage door on that side and hose the crud out the door. Has never taken more than light scrubbing with the wet push broom to loosen the road crud to hose it out the door. Part of the beauty of an epoxy floor is how easy it is to keep it clean - sweep occasionally, hose it down once a year to get the winter crud out, and it looks like it was just poured.
