When I etched the floor in my garage the acid got all the exposed copper piping for my floor heat and water black and green.

Is there an easy way to clean them up? I'm not too worried about them being nice shiny brand new copper, but right now it looks like they are growing fuzz.

I tried steel wool last night and holy ****, I'd be rubbing the pipes until 2012 to get them clean! I was hoping for some kind of liquid I could wipe the pipe down with.

Air conditioning condenser cleaner. This is an acid used to clean aluminum and copper. Paint it with a paint brush and naturalize it with baking soda. Cost is about $15.
