Not really a garage question, but I'm looking for a way to clean the decorative tin on my kitchen cabinets. The Mrs' likes the shiny tin look better so I guess thats what I'm aiming for. Also looking for a way to keep them from tarnishing again. Heres what the cabinets look like if thats any help and its no problem removing the metal to do whatever I need to them.

Thanks in advance

I think it would be easiest to remove the tin and use a power sander with fine sandpaper. It's flat and fairly smooth so it shouldn't take more than a minute or two to restore the shiny look the boss wants......then hit it with some clear enamel. jmho:)
