I've got a 4 year old DIY Home Depot Rustoleum Epoxyshield floor. It's got some paint overspray, various paint drips, lots of oil spills and a lot of general dirtiness. It has the SharkGrip anti-skid in it. I'm not sure if this is what's making it so hard to clean. I've been in shops where the floors are smooth as glass and I'd imagine that would be easier to clean (but probably too slippery!)
I'd like to clean it up and try to restore some of the looks of it. I've used a pressure washer before and it is surprisingly ineffective. Even the round floor clearer attachment doesn't do much good. What does work well is scrubbing the floor with a nylon bristle brush. But I'd like to avoid all that labor!
I'm thinking of renting a floor buffer from Home Depot. Anybody have any experience cleaning/polishing an epoxy floor with these? They have a variety of scrubber pads and I'm not sure which to use. And I'm also not sure what kind of cleaning solution to use.
Thanks!
