Okay here's the deal. My garage floor is over 15 years old and needless to say its had some stuff spilled on it over those years. The worst spot is where the car sat or sits as its had oil/****** fluid spilled on it. I know that surface prep is the secret to having a nice finished product and my question is if after I clean the floor and I no longer have water beading on the surface after its been etched, is that good enough even though you will probably still be able to see the grease stains down in the concrete? Or do I need to TOTALLY remove all hints of prior stains? Is there something that will draw out the oils from the floor?
