My truck has sat outside for a few months and the bed collected water and grass, then the water dried on all the gross stuff from the grass to the line-x, then the process repeated a few times....

Any ideas on how to clean it, outside of the general, soap, water, and scrub-brush??

My Line-X dealer told me to use a boat deck cleaner.* I seemed to remember something about a paste in a container, but I wasn't paying attention. Google brought up a bunch of liquid non-skid boat deck cleaner.

I had all the carpets taken out of my 08 wrangler and the entire tub was sprayed with line-x. After a day out in the woods I use soap, water and a stiff bristle tire brush to scrub it then follow with 303 protectant and it looks like new again.

Castrol superclean splashed in after hosing it down. Then i use a push broom/ regular broom combo to scrub. Hose it out and its good for another 6 months.

I use a pressure washer. Just be careful not to get to close to the liner.

My two favorite methods. I use a little Simple Green to break up the grime, scrub it with a push-broom, and then power wash it out. Gets it pretty clean, for a truck bed!

When our's gets nasty, I use a boat deck brush (like a push broom but smaller with stiffer bristles) and some Ivory dish soap. Takes a bit of elbow grease, but it comes out looking great!

Is there anyway to get the black luster back like when it was first sprayed?

I also heard they now have some kind of special sealant line-x extra?

I appreciate wanting to take care of your vehicle, but it's a truck bed! Does anyone walk up and look in the bed to see how it looks? (Actually, maybe they do).

My Line-X is 11 years old and gets a pressure wash maybe twice a year. It looks fine but not black like when it was new.
