I am slowly selling off a lot of stuff that I have accumulated over the last 20 years (10 of them as a Snap-on dealer.) I acquired this box about 10-12 years ago when I was still with Snap-on. A neighboring dealer took this in on trade from the original owner and I traded that dealer for it. I don't recall the the model numbers but I do remember that it was manufactured in 1968. I have the original keys as well as the tool to remove the drawers. The drawers are all friction slide and work great. I think the original owner had it in his garage and was not a professional based on the condition. I got it, put it in the corner and started storing junk in it. I have reached a point in my life where I have decided I don't need all this junk much less a toolbox to store it.
So my question to the GJ vintage toolbox gurus is this. When I do get this box emptied and cleaned and ready to sell. What does a 55 year old Snap-on box like this sell for? What do you think would be the best place to market it? Classifieds here? Facebook? Ebay?
