I usually use any all purpose cleaner and water in a mop bucket for general cleaning. Racedeck sells a special cleaner called Restore that is supposed to work good that you can use periodically to bring the shine back. Need to order some of that myself as my floor has been down a while.
RaceDeck is a full suspension flooring that allows air to circulate and liquids to flow. If your garage is pitched, all will flow out the door. The seams are pretty tight and most all water is held out by hydro-static tension.
I'm interested in this thread as I'm making a fine mess on my new this summer RaceDeck. I'm changing the '46 MG from a 4 speed to a 5 speed ****** and even with cardboard down I've got slime all over the floor. Still looks good though!
After I wash my car I use the remaining clean bucket solution (two bucket method). And a bit more water and use a standard cotton mop..Does a decent job. Garage isn't used for anything *********..just parking the car so the dirt never gets that bad.
Have also used some simple green which is better than the car wash approach but since i have the left over car wash stuff..what the heck..save a few cents!
Any non-abrasive household cleaner can be used (409, Simple Green, etc). For grass stains or other tough stains, use Magic Eraser. Another tip I've learned for customers is dilute some Downey or other fabric softener to dissipate static build-up.
