cleaning snapon soft grips

I was wondering what people use to clean there snapon soft handles.. either ratchet handles or soft instinct or comfort?? Mine get dirty, it seems wd40 "gums" them up

I like to use carpet cleaner for auto carpets. I just spray it on and wipe it off. I use it on my matco soft grips and the come out like new.

Wheel bearing grease.

Like dissolves like, the grease will dilute and clean the handle, also works on dipped pliers. After give em a good wipe down after and your good to go.

I wipe it down quick with a shop rag then i throw it back in the drawer its just going to get dirty again
