Have many of you used any of these cleaning products from Ryobi or Makita?
I'm talking about things like their vacuums like the makita cordless vacuum or the Ryobi one

For the girl you know.. Gotta keep them happy too :)
But I think it would be cool to get her rechargable cordless cleaning tools instead of the usual house products you usually see.

As much of a Makita fan boy as I am, I've got to be truthful and say that the Makita 18V vacuum you linked is kind of a super dustbuster. The Makita is a good tool for picking up a little bit of sawdust or drywall dust after you drilled a hole. Not a disappointment by any means but not a replacement for a home vacuum or shop vac.

Good luck brother. Buying them an electric broom isn't high on their list. That's even an 80's Andrew Dice Clay joke when he buys the dust pan. "It matches the broom I bought ya last year!"

If you're brave enough, Shark are fine products. They don't need your tool brands and they for sure don't need a $1,500 Snap-on Shop-Vac.

I have the Makita 18V cordless, it does an OK job at my lockup where I don't have mains power. However a mains shop vac is far better.

Well she works for a property management company and uses them professionally so its a bit more important to have quality tools than the only cleaning you own house..
Also important to have extra batteries..

If you’re considering the Makita route, why not something like this. They’re a little more industrial - designed as cordless dust extraction for power tools, but they’re superb “stand alone” cleaners. Very portable.129F1A4C-6E67-45CC-9768-E011B1BFF09C.jpeg

Makita even has a Backpack Vacuum that seems incredibly professional grade..

That's one reason I really like Makita, they may not always be the post powerful or fastest tools, but they seem to have products seriously geared toward professionals/industry at a level that even Milwaukee doesn't quite seem to reach..
Ain't cheap though, lol..

It's not seeming like many here have much experience using these types of tools..

Michigan And Florida too!
There's a guy on YouTube Scott Brown that has my dream setup of a Makita track saw with dust extractor system.

Sadly, it's out of my price range with the number of batteries needed and Bluetooth adapters etc...

I'm also thinking the Makita battery stuff is overkill for property management. Wouldn't a nice Miele or Riccar be better suited to the task?
