I look away for a day and you guys have a party.
Thanks!

I love visitors.
Funny how animals so completely rule our hearts and minds.
I wonder what Hershey will make of the sudden influx of people when you have the inspection from the Motherland.
Hershey is funny. She likes most people but I'll warn you, big guys and men with beards sometimes brings on barking and aggression. She warms up, but it takes her a bit. And you guys don't talk right. It will be funny to see what she does.

Hi Andy, I just caught up after not reading for a long time and I'm very glad Hershey's little adventure turned out okay. Have you considered asking your vet to insert a chip? That'd increase the odds of her being returned if she was ever picked up, even without a collar.
Love the gears and fence - I'll bet there'll be some brass gears happening soon!
I had not thought of a chip. My vet checked her for a chip when I first took her in. I need to do that, thanks!
Tattoo in her ear would help too. But she most likely got lost chasing a deer or rabbitt.
On another note.
I was at a lock Smith today and they had a pile of keys and a bucket of key shavings. She said they were not pure brass though.
She said they toss it all out.
Glen
I'll talk to the vet about a tattoo. Maybe she's like one of a rabbit.
I noticed a bucket under the key machine in our lumber yard but didn't ask. I'm shy. I guess if you can ask I can.
Hi Andy,
Glad to hear the pup returned!
I sent you a PM reply from my iPad Sunday night, and checked for responses yesterday while I was waiting to be called for jury selection and was never selected. I suspect you may not have received the response because the message does not appear in my Sent Items in the forum. I don't like the iPad app. I'm hoping this post on your forum works, but it doesn't look like the messaging is working from my computer either (using Chrome).
Amber/yellow light may indicate you have a power supply issue with the Dell. Can you send me your service tag (try PM)? The data should be recoverable from your hard drive using an external USB to hard drive adapter (I believe I also have a spare one of those) but I'm hoping you've been backing up your important stuff.
Let me know where you're at (not Terlton).
Eugene
I've been negligent. I did get your two PM's but to respond i need to get information off the computer and haven't had a chance, really. It is a Gateway, not a Dell. And I believe it is Windows 95. My grandson was here working on his truck that has been in my yard for about a year. How time flies.
He and his dad could not get the brakes to work (after sudden failure while driving). We removed the front/rear differential sensor unit (I guess my son has never fabricated brake lines) and after they would not bleed determined the master cylinder was taking on air. So he got a new one under warranty (they had replaced it) and we got it on and the brakes working again.

He can TIG weld but not acetylene so I showed him how to weld up the crack in his exhaust system. He was surprised I didn't clean it first.

But got a good weld.

He buys and sells trucks and does well. The Ford is what we were working on, the Dodge Cummins is just a temporary passing through he drove two hours to get here.
He has learned how to make money trading cars. The reverse of how I do it.
My pets are cooler than me. I don't have any tattoos.
Even my cows are cooler than me. None of them have tape on their glasses.
Hershey Bar. Great idea.
Someone mentioned brass a few posts back. Our building has two of these per floor, 5 story building. Wonder if I could remove them without getting wet?

If you think you can, or think you can't, you're probably right. Use the power of positive thinking and just take it off. If you get wet go take a few more off. I'll pay postage...

Chips time in the glass shop was not a success, to be honest.
Andy, really glad Hershey’s come home, but very impressed with the way you crowbarred Hershey Bar into your post. 10/10 for effort.
Regards
Steve
So how did this happen? Obviously you swung it too hard.

But at least he is trying.
Thank you

Everyone should enjoy a Hershey Bar now and again.
OK Andy. You need to start putting warnings on your hammers relating to glass and incompatibility.

What kind of warning? I came up with several but I'm afraid the sensitive might be offended. For instance:
Go ahead and hit glass with this hammer, it cracks me up.
Mr. Andy,
Figured I'd say something this time. I have visited your thread just about everyday for the last few months and today I was kinda thirsty so i grabbed a coke, thank you. I left the can so you can recycle it and then I can see what you do with it.

I am amazed at what you do and how you do it. Thanks for the on going education.
Lynn
Thanks for the visit! I hope you use done i=of my dimes so I don't lose count!!

Uh-oh. Looks like AndyVision is contagious. Just like Andy, now you see aluminum and brass not as objects but as STBM (stuff to be melted).
That's not funny, stick to woodworking.
On a different subject, my grandson and I saw a semi trailer, all aluminum, and I commented "Wow! I'd love one of those, We'd cut the beams off then start sawing it up". He was amused.
That's gold
What did he say?
No. Just brass and aluminum. LOL.

But, copper and aluminum is gold colored, aluminum bronze.
Beat me to it ^^^

Gold hammers? Ok I’ll take one. The scrap aluminum for trade is in the mail.

I'll PM you my address. Copper wire would ship economically in "if it fits it ships", and I can make you an aluminum bronze hammer. But they are tough and hard. Like my pasta.
Thanks for the visits, guys. I'm pretty much preoccupied with my nursing duties, so I'll post when I can.
