Andy, I know you do not know me. I'm not even sure if I have posted in your thread or not. But I have read it from the very beginning and I am always checking for updates. Are you still making hammers? I have a large chunk of aluminum that I could trade you??

Not sure if you are familiar with Cowboy Kent Rollins, you may be since you are practically neighbors.
Thought of you when I saw this yesterday. Its a year old but I still think you would enjoy the little part at the end.
Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas and a smashing new year Andy!

I look forward to getting to hear more from you when you are ready for the world again.

We have an outright fire ban this year so have to wait a little to melt metal right now. I have enough on anyway... :willy_nil

That resembles my kind of torture!

Just to update everyone who keeps an eye on Andy.

His Festive season has been filled with friends, family and emotions.

All of it I would like to believe has been good.

I was blown away at the pics he shared with me of a most generous gift he hand made for a close family friends family home, who spent a lot of time with him and his family, including Sharon in the last few years.

The man is generous beyond belief.

I will leave it to him to share if he feels it appropriate.

But just to say that he is as well and better than can be expected.

Please do be patient though.

Andy, Take all the time you need. You are well missed here. I know that holidays are a rough time for surviving spouses. I'm glad that you have your circle of family and friends to support you.

Grizz, Thank you for keeping us updated. It is much more appreciated than you will probably ever know.

Andy: with you gone from GJ for a bit while you sort things out and 1/2 cup no longer with us I thought taking a few weeks off to maybe get some progress curing my FSD and really spent most of my extra time in our kitchen eating my bride's holiday goodies.

that said i'm back and wanted to wish you and yours a very happy 2020 and hope to see you posting your humor even if some of it goes right over my head soon.

take care and glad to hear you are doing ok.

cheers

Thanks for the update Grizz. Andy, I still plan to come to see you when it gets possible to do so. A lot going on here too. You are always on our mind. Bobby

2019 is finally over. I've been a little dazed but think I'm coming around.

I have a lot planned for 2020.

One of my New Year's resolutions (which I usually don't make) is to visit Garage Journal regularly. The other is to cut up the logs I have into lumber. 8 I believe.

I greatly appreciate the outpouring and well wishes from the community here. I want to rejoin the group.

Great to have you back - I'm looking forward to being entertained and educated and charmed with your wit and humour again in 2020 and beyond.

I'm not much for New Years resolutions either, but wish you success with yours!

Thanks guys! For months I thought I'd go back and reply to each reply. It is my belief that if you take the time to respond to my thread I owe you a reply. Well it has gotten out of hand at this point so there is no going back. Please take this as my heartfelt appreciation of each post on this thread.

Where to start?

On September 9 I had the Chevelle running and took it for a spin.

I've a little video but I'm so fuzzy I'm sending it to Rian and asking him to post it. Sorry to put you on the spot old buddy.

On the timeline, Rian visited on the 10th, and two days later my wife of 40 years passed away peacefully at 12:30 PM with all of her close family by her side. We had cared for her 24 hours per day at home so she never had to leave her hummingbirds.

I am pretty certain everyone on hrre is only too happy to see you posting up Andy.

Continue at your own pace my friend.

Sorry to let you down Andy.

For some reason my Youtube channel has not let me upload for a few months now.

It keeps referring me to my phone Settings and once there, nothing I do lets me upload.

Maybe someone on here has advice on how to get it working

Andy,
As others have said I look forward to seeing what you are up to for the coming year. So many 2020 jokes to make this year, and next you can look back on this year and say hindsight is 2020.:lol_hitti
