I figured now is a good time to clean the garage up a bit while my car is at the shop getting a new heart. Ive included some before pics and a few afters. I'm not completely done but off to a good start.

I hope you only took the lace curtains down to wash them and hang them after the transplant is compete?

Seriously it looks much better with the new paint and wainscoting.

Nice transformation! Good luck with the next step! Do you have any plans for the concrete? I kind of like the patina on those floors, as if you could just polish it up and keep it a bit "vintage" looking.

Thanks, My wife went to big lots and bought me new curtains. I got a good start on the alcove section this afternoon. I hope to have that part done in the next couple of days, then I will start the third section this weekend. I will do the ceiling when the walls are done. I don't feel like taping and painting it, I spotted a white prefinished beaded paneling at lowes I plan on using. The walls are beaded vinyl soffit I had leftover from jobs. I used rubber cove base. It can be hosed down with water if necessary.
Floor will be last, probably in the spring when things warm up a bit. Not sure what I am doing with that. I like the look of epoxy, but not sure of the durability. My brother is trying to talk me into race deck. He used that and speaks highly of it. I don't have a problem leaving it alone either, or painting a border. It is a large 3 car space so the floor is going to be a budget breaker!
