Clear Cloat Needed?

I recently epoxied my floor with Pratt and Lambert 2 part epoxy and applied a partial flake, I would say a moderate flake appearance. I did not apply a clear coat and am collecting everyones thoughts on if I need one. The flake definitely adds some traction, I am just wondering if they will wear off. There will be only foot traffic in this part of the garage.

I would say a clear coat is not needed. Its extra and think its overkill for most applications.

I'm for the clear coat... It makes a big difference as Legacy said, and it adds another layer of UV and friction protection.

Epoxy and polyurethanes are tough durable products, flakes are relatively weak products, without a clear coat the flakes will be exposed, they will wear down, they will get dirty, clear coat 'em.
