Wandering how many out there have used a clear coat over Rust Bullet.
Also what kind of coverage did you get on a gallon of Rust Bullet?
I have a 810 square foot garage to coat. I see that they suggest at least 2 coats. Anyone used a primer first?
Thanks.

This is 4 coats of RB and 3 coats of clear.
I couldn't get rid of all roller marks on 2 coats.
I did not use a primer, the first coat got sucked up pretty good.
Obviously used less material on subsequent coats, I would buy extra just in case.
Unless you can get more w/ in the recoat window.

1. Regarding roller marks we have been able to eliminate them on the second coat. Some simple back roll techniques got rid of them for us and we added that to the installation instructions. We have also found, based on a suggestion, adding 6 oz of their solvent/ gallon works wonders ). The exception to this is if you grind or have rough concrete. You will go through more coats.

2. We have a ton of job photos on the forum and on our site of people who used clear. Typically its done when flake are involved. If you are not using flake, don't do the clear.

3. Primer: On smooth concrete, I would not do anything to it. If you have porous concrete or if you decide to grind, you will **** up more Rust Bullet. We are looking into a couple of alternatives for a primer, right now we do not suggest one.

4. Coverage: It is dead on. Do not try and stretch it. Average to smooth 400 Sq. Ft. Rough 300.
