Hello everyone,
I epoxied and applied epathane clear coat on my garage floor about 11 days ago it does not feel tacky but when I stick my finger nail hard it mars it, is this normal does it need more time to fully cure. I have heavy tools to move on it and I am concerned about marring the surface.
Any info will be appreciated

I am in the same boat as you. I had a few spots that where wet under the clear coat where I could move the top layer around. I ended up scraping it all out with a putty knife because I am recoating the clear I and am going to float some more base epoxy in and reclear over the whole floor. I put mine down last weekend.

didn't mix well...either you didn't pre mix the resin or didn't use the right ratio or both. I've also seen this happen when someone adds solvents to thin it out or if the top coat is applied while the epoxy hasn't fully hardened.

No cheap solution here, remove and redo

I am thinking I may have applied the top coat to early. I did the base coat between 8:30 and 10:30pm last saturday and the top coat sunday at 2:00pm. I finger nail check random spots before I top coated and they were hard. only after the top coat was dry I found these few spots.

If there are any spots I havent found will they eventually dry?

Sorry ash96508 I am not trying to hijack your thread just hoping for answers that can help us.
